We are praying for your family. Gideon is beautiful and we can't wait to see him healthy at church. Please let the Sunday School department know how we can help you. In the meantime we are all praying for you.

Dear Michelle and Ries,

Reading the story of your sweet baby brought back memories of the days when our children were in the NICU. They were born at 26 weeks. Jack weighed 1 pound, 15 ounces; Claire weighed 2 pounds, 4 ounces. Those first days and weeks were heartbreaking: the tubes, the surgeries, the uncertainty of whether or not they would come home. We knew that God had a plan for them, which was a huge comfort, but we so wanted that plan to include them coming home. They did come home three months later. They will start kindergarten in the fall. Jack sleeps in his cowboy boots sometimes; Claire knows deep in her heart that she truly is a princess.

Like you, we had a tremendous group of family, friends, church members, and people we'd never even met praying for our little ones. We hope that our prayers for Gideon will bring that same comfort to you.

Love to you both and to Baby Gideon,
Glenn and Pam
